TOP FEATURESThe MT-07 features the compact 689cc liquid-cooled, inline twin cylinder, DOHC CP2 engine with fuel injection. The fun and characterful CP2 engine provides both outstanding low- to mid-range torque and strong high-rpm pulling power. Fuel injection settings are optimized for seamless, linear throttle response characteristics, even when the throttle is slightly open at low rpm.
A five-inch full-color TFT display provides a choice of two different screen modes. The “Street” mode is a more modern layout with a bar-type tachometer, digital speedo and gear selection readouts. The “Touring” mode features a more conventional circular analog-style tachometer on the right of the screen and digital speedometer on the left.
ENGINEThe two-cylinder engine features Yamaha’s Crossplane Crankshaft Concept 270-degree crank that provides linear torque development in response to the rider’s throttle input. Offering excellent rider-machine communication, the CP2 engine is also light, slim and compact.
